RYA Dayskipper Package - Classroom Theory and Practical

This is a special one off package consisting of a 5 day classroom based RYA Dayskipper Theory course, followed by the 5 day RYA Dayskipper Practical sailing course.
Week one 20th - 24th October 2025 - 5 day RYA Dayskipper Theory course in our classroom. 4 nights accommodation and all meals are included onboard our Beneteau Oceanis 41.1
Week two 27th - 31st October 2025 - 5 day RYA Dayskipper Practical Sailing Course onboard our Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 including accommodation onboard and all meals.
Week One - RYA Day Skipper Theory Course – Classroom-Based
Master the fundamentals of navigation, chart work, and seamanship with our RYA Day Skipper Theory Course, taught in a structured classroom environment. Designed for aspiring skippers, this course provides essential knowledge to confidently plan and navigate coastal passages, whether you’re looking to charter a yacht, improve your sailing skills, or progress towards practical qualifications.

Duration: Typically 40 hours with an assessment at the end
Led by an experienced and qualified RYA instructor, the course is engaging, interactive, and tailored to ensure you develop a solid theoretical foundation. The classroom setting allows for hands-on learning with nautical charts, navigation tools, and real-world scenarios.
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive the RYA Day Skipper Theory Certificate, and be ready for week 2
Week 2 - RYA Day Skipper Practical.
Take the next step in your sailing journey with our RYA Day Skipper Practical Course, a 5-day hands-on sailing experience designed to build your confidence and competence as a skipper. Taught aboard our spacious Beneteau Oceanis 41.1, this course provides real-world training in navigation, boat handling, and seamanship in the stunning Geographe Bay.

Upon successful completion, you’ll receive the RYA Day Skipper Practical Certificate, allowing you to charter yachts and also apply for the ICC.
