The VHF radio is one of the most common pieces of equipment onboard a marine vessel and provides an essential safety service. The operator is required to hold an SROCP radio licence to operate the radio. This course will cover everything you need to know about VHF radio communications and associated safety elements to be able to pass the SROCP radio exam and gain your radio licence.

How is the course delivered?
The course is provided by Navathome Australia using Online Interactive Radio Simulators accompanied by presentation material.
Support and Extras
All support is provided by Oceanwest Charters. Students will have full access to NAVatHOME supporting resources.
SROCP exam
On completion of the course, students can undertake the SROCP exam with online invigilation (Zoom meeting or similar). (25 multiple choice questions - 30 minute time limit).
